- I've lost my password
If you have lost your password, you have to go on the Spirit ski school website. You can find the link at the top of the Cariboo's club website homepage. Then, once you are in the Spirit 1950 website, please click on the "login" area which is at the top of the homepage. Write your email adress and then click on the orange pointer at the right, then follow instructions.
- What is the difference between the Little Cariboo and Cariboo’s Club?
The Little Cariboo is for children for less than 3 years of age while Cariboo’s Club is for children more than 3 years old.
- In the case of bad weather, do the children still undertake outdoor activities?
Yes, unless the weather is particularly bad. Ensure your children are dressed accordingly: warm underclothes, waterproof jackets and pants, warm clothes, ski masks etc.
- Do I need to provide snacks for my children?
All children enrolled at Cariboo’s Club in the afternoon are given a snack and a hot chocolate. Cariboo’s Club also offers a hot chocolate to all children enrolled in our ski courses. Parents should however put a little extra snack in their child’s pocket. For the little ones (less than 2 years old) enrolled at the Little Cariboo, due to the possibility of food allergies we will only give them food provided by the parents.
- My child is enrolled in ski lessons with the Spirit Arc 1950 ski school in the morning and the afternoon and will also have lunch at Cariboo’s Club. How is this organised?
Don’t worry, we look after everything! The children’s hosts will wait for them at the end of the morning lessons to take them to Cariboo’s Club for lunch. They will also take those children skiing in the afternoon to their lessons.
- Where do the children place their belongings?
Children have a locker with their name on it.
- My child needs to have a nap in the afternoon, is this possible?
Yes. They can rest and/or sleep in a room reserved for afternoon naps, which is separate from the main play area.
- My child suffers from food allergies, can he/she eat with the other children?
Yes, but you must note this on the information sheet and please speak to us on you arrival so we can organise meals with our chef.
- Who prepares the lunch?
We have our own kitchen at Cariboo’s Club. A qualified chef prepares balanced meals each morning using only fresh ingredients. The menu is can be viewed each day at the entry of Cariboo’s Club.
- Can I drop off or pick up my child at anytime?
At the Little Cariboo, the hours are not fixed however please note that children are often undertaking outdoor activities during the morning and afternoon.
For Cariboo’s Club, in order to not disturb the organisation of activities, please respect the reception hours of 8.30am-10.00am in the morning and 2.30-3.00pm in the afternoon. If you wish to pick up your children earlier, please don’t hesitate to talk to us at reception to organise this.
- From what age can children start skiing?
We accept children starting from 3 years of age in a beginners programme adapted for their age: introduction to ski. Fully certified ski instructors teach this course.
- Can ski equipment be stored at Cariboo’s Club?
We are able to store ski material during the day when the children are at lessons or at Cariboo’s Club. Please note however that Cariboo’s Club is not a storage facility, you must pick up your skis and poles at the end of the day. Only ski boots can stay in the children’s lockers.
- Is a ski pass required for children enrolled in the ‘introduction to ski’ course?
No.
- Is ski hire included in the price of ski lessons?
No. Please note that children enrolled in ‘introduction to ski’ do need ski poles.
- Where is the meeting point for the learning to ski course?
The kid’s park for children 3-4 years is located only 50 meters from Cariboo’s Club. You must take your child with all their equipment to the entry of the park.
